Both had done zines previously, Tony had done a spectacle called Köttfärs and Ola's zine was called Kaokopops (spelling?) -but these early zines were generic trall-punk with a kind of leaning towards obsessing about bands like Radioaktiva Räkorna et al. But the boys finally grew up, well they turned 15 and were allowed to get drunk. They discovered Discharge and decided to do a collaboration zine, ripping off Sika äpärä! The zine came out in two issues - numering perhaps 50 ex each, but each issue consisting of about 20 or so ultra snotty interviews with crust and hardcore bands. The questions were very very Sika äpärä! Ola Beglert went on to be active in the GBG crust scene in the 1990-2000s, as well as making zines such as ReaLies (1 issue). Tony Gunnarsson moved to London and kept on doing little arty-farty zines and trying to be a serious writer. They were in talks to do issue 3 (only 14 years later!!!) and they both have some amterial for it - however too little time!!! Stay tuned. |
